Are You Covered For This Year?

As 2018 comes to a close and 2019 slips into our daily lives, it’s time to reflect on the past year and what it has brought. People are a social and adapting creature, always having changes from the world around us shift our lives in various ways. Many may consider going to the gym or starting a new diet, while others may reflect on relationships with the people who surround them. Although all these are very important, there’s one more thing that most people seem to let slip from their mind: their insurance policies.

It may not be the most exciting or impactful thing to think about, but it does have a big impact on your life. With a fresh start, it’s time to think about your policy today! Some things to consider are:

  1. Are you getting the right coverage?

Many drivers simply buy the minimum to get by in their everyday lives, which is not suited for any serious damages life may throw your way. Life is crazy and unpredictable, that’s why insurance is their to help protect you from the what-ifs. Although it might never happen, seriously consider the worst things that could happen to your health, vehicle and home, and if these terrible events could be covered by your insurance policy. We’d hate for any of this to actually happen to you, but we’d do our best to cover you before it does!

  1. Is the coverage priced reasonably?

Insurance is an important part of life, but it shouldn’t be a luxury priced at extreme prices. There is no doubt it won’t be universally cheap, but you should consider as many options as possible before officially deciding on a final policy. And just because you have one policy one year doesn’t mean you have signed a life sentence, you can switch if you’d like. That’s why we encourage our clients to be active in their policies. The insurance world is changing with the real world too, so don’t leave your policy in the dark!

  1. Is your policy clear?

Here at Leland Insurance Agency, we cover a range of people from businesses to personal boats. Due to this wide breadth of clients, our agents are well versed in terms associated with them. However, we understand that you are not. Insurance terms can overcomplicate things when understanding your policy, and we are here to help! Do not be afraid to ask questions and truly understand what is going on in your policy.

We wish you a happy and healthy 2019!!
